Premier Inn – Angel Court, Moorgate, London
Client: Gilbert-Ash Ltd / Whitbread Property
Completion: December 2025
Level Demolition Ltd was proud to support the redevelopment of 9–11 Angel Court, Moorgate, into a 165-bedroom Premier Inn hub for Whitbread Property.
Working within a heritage-listed structure dating back to the 1890s, our team delivered complex demolition works while preserving the original façade. The project included a five-storey vertical extension with stepped terraces, designed to support the City of London’s urban greening initiatives.
Our scope included:
- Full interior strip-out across all levels
- Removal of the top two storeys
- Preparation for structural reuse and extension
Navigating the constraints of a dense urban site with historic significance required precision, collaboration, and deep technical expertise. This project exemplifies demolition as strategic enablement – laying the groundwork for bold architectural contrast and vibrant public realm enhancements.
