Premier Inn – Angel Court, Moorgate, London

Client: Gilbert-Ash Ltd / Whitbread Property
Completion: December 2025

Level Demolition Ltd was proud to support the redevelopment of 9–11 Angel Court, Moorgate, into a 165-bedroom Premier Inn hub for Whitbread Property.

As part of this ambitious project, our team worked within a heritage-listed structure dating back to the 1890s. Despite the challenges, we delivered complex demolition works while carefully preserving the original façade. In addition, the redevelopment featured a five-storey vertical extension with stepped terraces, specifically designed to support the City of London’s urban greening initiatives.

Our scope included:

  • A full interior strip-out across all levels
  • The removal of the top two storeys
  • Preparation for structural reuse and extension

Navigating the constraints of a dense urban site with historic significance required precision, collaboration, and deep technical expertise. This project exemplifies demolition as strategic enablement, laying the groundwork for bold architectural contrast and vibrant public realm enhancements.

Project Dunlop – Boucher Road, Belfast

Client: Affidea Ltd
Completion: July 2025

Level Demolition Ltd played a pivotal role in the transformation of the former B&Q warehouse at 38 Boucher Road, Belfast, thereby supporting Affidea Ltd’s expansion into Northern Ireland’s healthcare infrastructure.

Following our commissioning for expertise in adaptive reuse, we undertook full internal demolition and preparatory works to convert the long-vacant retail space into a state-of-the-art Class C3 private hospital. Notably, the site—previously occupied by B&Q from 1999 to 2016—has now been reimagined to meet a vital public need.

Specifically, our scope of work included:

  • Internal strip-out and structural preparation
  • Coordination with design and build teams
  • Enabling works for a single-storey extension and change of use

Throughout the project, we navigated the challenges of repurposing legacy infrastructure while maintaining alignment with modern healthcare standards. As a result, this initiative marks a significant milestone in Affidea’s commitment to accessible, high-quality care across Ireland.

Ultimately, Project Dunlop stands as a testament to strategic collaboration, technical precision, and the power of repurposing legacy infrastructure for modern healthcare delivery, while Level Demolition Ltd consistently delivers results that turn vision into reality.
